Artist

My name is Stina Lövkvist. I was born in 1985 – grew up with Ponies, Super Mario mushrooms and cartoon shows with hysterical voice acting, in a woodsy neighbourhood not far from Stockholm. I started drawing as a kid and haven’t been able to stop ever since. Filling notebooks with little foxes and cats was how I spent most school days. I have always held animals and nature close to heart, which should be pretty evident in my art. Other things that inspire are good music, 60′s and 70′s design, Art Deco, people around me and the occasional strange dream.

Work Experience

I am an experienced illustrator with a fun, whimsical style.  I have illustrated a handfull of children’s books and make appearances in the magazine KP from time to time. I master a variety of digital and traditional medias. Besides illustration I have a lot of experience in the field of conceptual art and design. I understand the mechanics of digital 3D modeling, texturing and animation and have collaborated with artists in that field.
